How do I add clothes to my wardrobe?
Tap the + button on the Wardrobe tab. You can add a single item with a photo, or use AI Import to photograph multiple items at once — the app identifies each piece automatically. Review and edit anything before saving.
How does the AI import work?
AI import uses Google Gemini to identify clothing items from your photos. It sends the photos you select through our server to Google's AI for identification — no setup needed. Photos pass through in memory only and are never stored by us. AI import is for users 18 and older. You can also add items manually without using AI.
Can I use the app without giving it my location?
Yes. For San Francisco users, you can pick a neighbourhood directly and skip location permission entirely. Location is only needed for the "Use my location" button, which works in any city.
How do I move my wardrobe to a new iPhone?
Go to Settings → Backup and export a backup file. Save it to Files or iCloud Drive. On your new iPhone, install Fashion Forecast and tap Restore from Backup. You can optionally password-protect the backup file.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Fashion Forecast → Cancel Subscription. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple Support.
The weather looks wrong for my neighbourhood.
San Francisco's micro-climates are notoriously tricky. The app uses neighbourhood-level weather data with coordinates specific to each neighbourhood, which is generally accurate but not perfect. If you see persistent issues, let us know the neighbourhood and we'll look into it.
